A step over the threshold is half the journey...

A new project to document the country way of life. I hope to photograph all that I stumble, and I find interest, upon. Since I am based in Ceredigion I hope to record some of the sights I find whilst I am driving around on my post round (I am a post man in the Tregaron area).

All work will be black and white film and I will be stepping away from my usual slow method of large format photography and experimenting with older, seldom used techniques (mostly sandwiching negatives, differential (localized) focusing) and other techniques which I haven’t used in decades. All work will remain on film and will be processed and printed at home. The work will be photographed over the coming years and will hopefully incorporate all the seasons and the changes of each...
Images are randomly shown, as they as taken, and will be swapped round whenever I think they need removing/adding etc... Hope you enjoy...

Photo comment By Andrew Hawkey: These are superb new photographs. Ffair Rhos and Strata Florida area, right? There's a lifetime's material up in those hills ... keep it up. Looking forward to seeing more.
Photo comment By Debbi Vaisey: Your photos took me back 5 years to my visit to Wales. You have captured the beauty I have tried to tell everyone about. Thank you
