New Blog:
Of late I have taken less images of ruins than previous years. There are still many out there, waiting to be explored and photographed, and I will endeavour to find them (I have a list of approximately a hundred of so sites yet to be photographed - of course there are hundreds more that I do not know about).
Alongside large format images I have almost constantly photographed with medium format cameras too (everything from Hasselblads to Twin Lens Reflex and seventy year old folding cameras). These images have rarely found themselves on this site and since they make up a comparatively large percentage of images taken, I intend to begin to re-print and then scan them onto the site.
I will also include new images taken on both large and medium format. These will includes new and old ruins, portraits, landscapes, still-life and other areas of photography which have interested me over the years (infra-red, double exposure - sandwich negatives etc...) which show a more experimental approach.
I would also like to ask anybody who knows of any rural ruins (yes, still trying to stick to rural since the villages and towns and cities have ample ruins and photographers to document them) to get in touch with me and I will attempt to free up some spare time to get out and photograph them.
A new 'Gallery' will be started soon with aforementioned images and I look forward to your comments and messages. I do not always respond to every email and comment, mainly due to the volume. Please accept my apologies.
