All photographs are hand printed using traditional photographic 'silver gelatin' paper and can be ordered on either resin coated(RC) or fibre based(FB) paper types. All the photographs are mounted, signed, titled and dated and come complete with an information sheet on the house.

FAQ:
What is the difference between Fibre-Based & Resin-Coated prints?
Resin Coated (RC) papers differ basically from Fibre-Based (FB) papers in that they have a polyethylene coating, preventing chemicals from soaking into the paper fibres. Processing, washing, and drying times are far shorter with RC papers and when they are dry, they are perfectly flat. Fibre Based prints require extensive washing time to remove all the fixing chemicals from the paper and curl up when initially dry.
I personally prefer to use Fibre Based papers - although much more care is required to produce a full archival print the reward is far greater. The 'blacks tones' in the finished print have an intense depth and Fibre Based paper 'tones' much easier that Resin Coated. Due to the longer and more complex processing fibre based prints are charged at a higher rate.
All photographs, whether Fibre Based or Resin Coated are produced to an archival standard and are toned in Kodak Selenium Toner (although no substantial colour tone will record in the resin coated papers) and you can order either glossy or matt surfaces. If you prefer a a warmer brown tone then please request.

There is also an exhibition catalogue available to purchase. The catalogue is self produced, soft bound containing approx A4 77 pages and lists all the mansions on the website with a small photograph next to the text. The catalogue is only printed using a laser printer so the quality of the photographs is quite poor - please consider this when purchasing - it is produced at cost.
This is available to buy for £8.99 (postage free) by clicking on this link exhibition catalogue.

Please include whether you want glossy or matt paper.
All prices include postage and insurance.
All photographs and frames are well packaged.
Items can be collected from Brighton or the Aberystwyth area. Delivery times vary but you will receive your order usually within three - four weeks.
Colour images are not available to purchase. Some of the older colour images were taken on a very cheap 35mm compact camera - the resolution is not great - and colour images taken from 2006 were shot on a digital compact camera. Again, although much improved, they will not withstand much enlargement. I therefore do not offer colour photographs for sale. The black and white images, although perhaps not necessarily apparent on the screen, will enlarge without problem to 20x16inch prints. I will, when requested, also enclose small colour snapshots of any of the black and white photographs ordered. All black and white photographs were taken on a 5x4inch field camera unless otherwise stated. If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me.
