DUST

07th March 2020
It is almost impossible to load, take, develop and print a photograph without the odd bit of dust. No matter how careful I am, or indeed any photographer, dust is and always has been a small but irritable problem. A long time ago I would blow/wipe do everything possible to make sure my negatives were as free as dust as possible. It was a losing battle. These days I accept that there will be, sometimes not always, the odd speck on the negative. Most times these little imperfections are lost within the business of information in an image but occasionally they may be in a light part of the sky. I have grown to accept this dust as all part of the process. Nobody who has ever purchased a photograph of mine has ever complained or even mentioned a dust spot but I thought I should pre-empty any such issues. Thank you, Paul White
