From the road all that can be seen is a stone building and a corrugated iron barn. Behind, beneath the foliage and overhanging trees, is a house and further outbuildings; much overgrown and almost impenetrable – all long ruined and falling down.

By Linda: I grew up in Hafod (Hafod Uchaf to give it its full name).Left there in 1969 - happiest days of my life spent there - so sad to see it ruined!
