PEELING PAINT, Empty Cottage, Lampeter 2000

Notes on PEELING PAINT, Empty Cottage, Lampeter 2000
These jaggered and piercing lines that ran through the paint and plaster on an empty cottage between Newcastle Emlyn and Lampeter were a challenge to photograph successfully. There was very little light and the wall itself was so cracked and crazied I barely knew where to start. I knew I could get a successful image from the wall but I just couldn't seem to compose it in the ground glass. Eventually this image was taken. I took a number but most were either out of focus or not exposed long enough.
