PEN-CEILO-GWYDD FARM, Llanelli 2018

Notes on PEN-CEILO-GWYDD FARM, Llanelli 2018
A short damp walk and quickly whilst exploring it becomes apparent this farm was the victim of a fire. Inside is much ruinous and blackened. Outside a few possession scattered. A long barn with arrow-slot vents hint at an older property than what I first imagined.

By Alan Morgan: I’m familiar with this set of pics, the farm was situated in lower llwynhendy adjacent to the main Swansea train line. The farm was called Penclacwydd ucaf, just a few hundred yards from penclacwydd Isaf farm, of course where the wetlands centre is based now. I spent a couple of seasons working on this farm, then rented by Steve Morgan, circa 1962/4
