Notes on ABSTRACTION, Swansea 2019

Black mortar wall in a house I am renovating - the scratches were probably made when the house was built in the 1930's and a few chips from a hammer and screwdriver as recent as two weeks ago (May 2019)... A successful image? Probably not. Worthy of the other abstractions on this site? Again, probably not. I can't even say I enjoyed taking the picture. My mystery of pattern was old in my minds eye. I had worked on this wall. It brings pain, not joy!
